Lately I have been buried in the middle of a restructure of all the library servers which have over time started to appear with each of the different versions of SCVMM we have deployed to support specific scenarios or requirements. The process has been pretty interesting as I learn about some limitations in the tool, but more on that in the next post.

A little earlier today Microsoft released via their Connect site the latest and greatest version of the deployment tool kit. Taken directly from the release notes these are just some of the features:

Microsoft have been busy the last 24 hours showing off some of its UX for the new Windows 8 OS, Microsoft Windows president_ Steven Sinofsky’s _keynote at D9, followed a few hours later with a Windows 8 Preview at Computex in Taipei.

A little while back I completed the deployment of our new Exchange 2010 Edge environment, which was shortly after promoted to full production level as I progressed to remove the final Exchange 2007 nodes from the environment. One of the considerations which needed to be taken at the time was for a very tiny number of users who are still requiring access to their mailbox via the POP3 connectors.
