In our previous post, we worked through the process of configuring the source and target forests, to enable name resolution, before establishing a security trust between the environments, and delegating our access administrative access from the target to the source forest.

In the previous post, we considered the tasks which must be completed in order to run a successful consolidation of a Source Active Directory and Exchange environment into our target infrastructure. With the pre-perquisites under control of the relevant teams we can now begin to focus on the activities which we must complete as we prepare to execute the migration.
